Hospitality Transportation Driver Job Description
Position Overview: A Hospitality Transportation Driver is responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services for our members and residents. This role involves driving members and residents to and from appointments, events or other local destinations, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport Guests: Drive members and residents to and from designated locations, such as appointments, events and local attractions.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, assisting members with wheel chairs, walkers and packages and offering information about the local area.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and good working condition of the vehicle, including regular checks on oil, brakes, tires, and lights.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic regulations and hotel policies to ensure the safety of passengers.
- Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of shuttle usage, including mileage and maintenance issues.
- Assist with Special Needs: Help guests with special needs or requests, ensuring their comfort and safety during the journey.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL license Class A with a P endorsement or Class B CDL with a clean driving record.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of the local area and ability to provide directions and recommendations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
