As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and driven Director of Operations to join our executive leadership team. This individual will play a critical role in shaping the future of our company by leading operations across all locations, developing our leadership team, and ensuring operational excellence company-wide.

Position Overview
The Director of Operations serves as a key member of The Spa Lounge's executive leadership team and reports directly to the Owners. This role is responsible for overseeing the operational performance of all Spa Lounge locations while providing leadership, coaching, and support to our Spa Managers.
The Director of Operations partners closely with ownership to drive company growth, improve systems, develop leaders, and ensure operational excellence across every location. This position plays a vital role in shaping company culture, enhancing the guest experience, and building scalable systems that support our continued expansion.
This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys developing people, solving complex operational challenges, creating efficient systems, and leading with accountability, integrity, and a servant's heart. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves to support the team when needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop all Spa Managers and location leadership teams
- Ensure operational consistency and excellence across every location
- Create, implement, and improve company systems, policies, and standard operating procedures
- Analyze business performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability, and guest satisfaction
- Partner with ownership on strategic planning, company initiatives, and future expansion
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, leadership development, and succession planning
- Conduct regular location visits, operational audits, and performance reviews
- Coach managers through employee performance, accountability, and guest service challenges
- Support new location openings and major operational projects
- Ensure locations maintain exceptional cleanliness, professionalism, and service standards
- Monitor staffing levels, scheduling, labor efficiency, inventory, and operational workflows
- Lead weekly leadership meetings and drive accountability across the management team
- Foster a positive, high-performing culture built on teamwork, ownership, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 5+ years of leadership experience, including multi-location management preferred
- Experience leading and developing managers
- Strong operational, organizational, and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proven ability to build systems and improve operational performance
- Strong conflict resolution and coaching skills
- Comfortable analyzing business metrics and making data-driven decisions
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficient with technology, scheduling software, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing organization
- Willingness to travel regularly between Utah locations
- Weekend and evening availability when business needs require
