Position Overview
The Industrial Engineer is responsible for analyzing, designing, and improving production systems and processes to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure high-quality standards at IFAB Corp. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams—including manufacturing, quality, maintenance, and supply chain—to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Process Analysis & Improvement

Analyze production processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.

Develop and implement standardized work procedures, plant layouts, and time studies.

Support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and other continuous improvement initiatives.

Lead and participate in Kaizen events and process improvement projects.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting

Monitor and report key performance metrics, including productivity, quality, scrap, and downtime.

Support new product introductions and process validation efforts.

Conduct line balancing, capacity analysis, and ergonomic assessments.
Collaboration & Compliance

Work with maintenance and tooling teams to ensure equipment reliability.

Ensure proper documentation of processes and maintain accurate engineering records.

Support compliance with ISO and IATF quality management systems.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and continuous improvement methodologies.

Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO and IATF.

Strong skills in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other design/layout software.

Experience with time and motion studies, work instructions, and standardization.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas: welding, assembly, press brake, stamping, laser cutting, coating (e.g., powder coating, wet paint), CNC machining.
