What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, assisting with visitor, patient, and staff directions while following post orders and escalation protocols.

Complete routine reports and communicate observations, maintenance concerns, and/or policy-related issues to supervisors and site contacts in a timely manner.
Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
