About the Role
Golden Movers is hiring a Class A CDL Driver for a primarily OTR (Over-the-Road) position, with the option to run local jobs between trips or structure a hybrid schedule if preferred.
This role is ideal for someone with at least 2 years of driving experience who values independence, enjoys being on the road, and is comfortable taking ownership of their work.
What to expect:
- Typical trips run 7–10 days, with occasional longer routes (12–21 days)
- Home time typically 3–7 days between runs
- Option to run 1–2 OTR trips per month and work locally in between
- This is a W-2 employee position (not 1099)
- We pay hourly + overtime (actual time worked)
- Equipment: Newer leased tractors (Penske fleet)
This is a working driver role — you’ll be involved in both driving and job-site execution.
What You’ll Do
- Drive OTR routes (regional / long-distance moves)
- Work local jobs between OTR trips (if desired)
- Assist with loading, unloading, and packing
- Ensure safe transport and proper handling of customer goods
- Maintain truck cleanliness and DOT compliance
- Lead crews on OTR jobs
- Handle customer communication, paperwork, and inventory
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years driving experience
- Clean driving record
- OTR experience preferred
- Moving experience is a plus (not required — we will train)
- Willing to work hands-on when not driving
- Strong work ethic, discipline, and reliability
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Organized and comfortable with basic tech (iPad/paperwork)
- Physically able to assist with moving

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
