About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized, hands-on Lead Mover & Logistics Manager to oversee all staging installations, warehouse operations, inventory preparation, and moving crews for our home staging company. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both physical work and logistics management, thrives in a fast-paced environment, feels comfortable driving a large moving truck, and can lead a team while ensuring every project runs smoothly from warehouse to installation.
The Lead Mover & Logistics Manager serves as the point person for installation days, coordinating movers, managing truck logistics, and ensuring our staging team has everything needed to create exceptional results for our clients.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation & Project Management
- Manage and oversee all staging installations and removals.
- Coordinate installation flow and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Work closely with the staging team to execute staging plans accurately.
Team Leadership
- Direct and supervise movers during loading, unloading, installations, and warehouse activities.
- Assign tasks and ensure crews work efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
- Train new movers on company procedures and expectations.
Logistics & Scheduling
- Coordinate schedules with movers and staging staff.
- Plan and manage daily routes and installation timelines.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding project details, schedules, and expectations.
- Ensure all necessary inventory and equipment are prepared before each project.
Warehouse & Inventory Management
- Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient warehouse.
- Prepare furniture, artwork, accessories, and staging inventory for upcoming installations.
- Ensure items are properly returned and stored.
- Handle all inventory with care and attention to detail to prevent damage and maintain presentation quality.
- Inspect furniture, artwork, accessories, and décor before and after installations.
- Immediately report any damaged, missing, or excessively worn inventory to management.
Moving & Truck Operations
- Must be comfortable driving a 24ft box truck
- Participate in loading and unloading trucks.
- Coordinate truck packing to maximize efficiency and protect inventory during transport.
- Ensure trucks are properly stocked with equipment, supplies, and tools.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance needs and report issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in moving, logistics, warehouse management, home staging, furniture delivery, or related fields preferred.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining inventory and client homes.
- Ability to identify, document, and communicate inventory damage or maintenance needs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to safely lift, move, carry, and position heavy furniture and staging inventory throughout the day.
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment, including climbing stairs and standing for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.

Compensation
Competitive starting pay of $32/hr, with opportunities for growth and advancement after a 60 day trial period
Pay: From $32.00 per hour
