Very busy optometric practice is seeking a full-time Optician/lab. In this role , you will be helping patients find the perfect eyewear to meet their vision needs. Responsibilities include: providing recommendations on lens options, frames and coatings based on patients needs and prescriptions, adjust and repair eyewear as needed, utilize your knowledge of optics, medical coding and retail management to provide exceptional service. Perform quality control checks to inspect lenses for scratches or coating defects. Operate automated machinery to cut and edge lenses. You must be detailed-oriented, have excellent communication skills and enjoy working directly with patients. Will train the right candidate.
