Norris Square Neighborhood Project (NSNP) is seeking a full-time Youth Program Director to lead our after-school and summer youth programs, Semillas del Futuro and Raíces de Cambio.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced youth development professional to lead innovative programs that connect young people to leadership, arts and culture, urban agriculture, and their community.
Position Overview
The Youth Program Director provides strategic leadership for the design, implementation, and evaluation of NSNP's youth programs. This role supervises program staff, manages partnerships and budgets, oversees daily program operations, and works collaboratively across the organization to ensure high-quality programming and positive outcomes for youth and families.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of after-school and summer youth programs.
- Supervise and support instructors, teaching artists, and youth program staff.
- Develop project-based learning opportunities that integrate arts, culture, technology, and urban agriculture.
- Build partnerships with schools, community organizations, families, and volunteers.
- Oversee youth recruitment, enrollment, attendance, and program compliance.
- Manage program budgets, reporting, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with NSNP staff to strengthen youth leadership, community engagement, and family participation.
- Represent NSNP at community meetings, public events, and partner organizations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Services, Child Development, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of three years of experience working with youth in high-needs communities.
- At least three years of supervisory experience.
- Experience developing and managing youth programs.
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and trauma-informed practices.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Connections to the local community are a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $58,000–$61,000 annually, commensurate with experience

Schedule
