Plant Specialist – Plantae
Are you a self-proclaimed "plant parent" with a green thumb and a passion for helping others grow their urban jungle? Plantae is looking for a knowledgeable and energetic Plant Specialist to join our team in a fun, fast-paced retail environment!

At Plantae, we live and breathe greenery. We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just know the difference between a Pothos and a Philodendron but can explain it to a customer with a smile.
The Details:
- Pay: $18.35/hour + tips
- Hours: 15-20 hours per week
- Schedule: Must be available Weekends.
- Shift Times: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Full availability during these hours is required).
What You’ll Do:
- Provide expert advice on plant care, lighting, and watering to customers.
- Maintain shop inventory: watering, pruning, and ensuring all plants stay healthy and happy.
- Assist with potting services and retail sales.
- Help maintain a clean, aesthetic, and welcoming shop environment.
Requirements:
- Experience taking care of plants is a MUST. (Whether professional or a very extensive personal collection, you must know your stuff!)
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliability and punctuality for our 10–6 shifts. (Part time on weekends!)
- Ability to lift bags of soil and move medium-to-large plants as needed.
