Job Summary
WNYAthletics is seeking a motivated, creative, and dependable Digital Media & Website Coordinator to join our team. This individual will play an important role in maintaining our website, expanding our social media presence, and helping us deliver timely, engaging coverage of high school athletics throughout Western New York.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and regularly update the WNYAthletics website.
- Post articles, scores, schedules, photos, videos, and other sports content.
- Ensure website content is accurate, organized, current, and professional.
- Create engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, X, and YouTube.
- Develop graphics, posts, short-form videos, promotional content, and other digital media.
- Promote WNYAthletics game coverage, broadcasts, articles, events, and sponsors.
- Help develop a consistent social media posting schedule.
- Monitor social media activity and identify opportunities to increase engagement and audience growth.
- Work closely with writers, photographers, broadcasters, production personnel, sales staff, and management.
- Assist with coverage of games, special events, and WNYAthletics initiatives.
- Help maintain a consistent WNYAthletics brand across the website and all social platforms.
- Be comfortable working independently while also contributing as part of a team.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Amherst, NY 14228
