We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Associate to join our team at the beautiful and historic Beaufort Inn located in downtown Beaufort. In this position, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within our establishment. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment within the hospitality industry.
Duties:
- Clean and tidy guest rooms according to set standards
- Change bed linens and replace towels
- Replenish guest amenities and supplies
- Dust, polish, and arrange furniture
- Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties as needed
- Ensure all areas are properly sanitized
-Clean public areas
-Wash and dry linens.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
- Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure efficient operations
Skills:
- Experience in custodial or housekeeping management is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices is advantageous
- Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Understanding of hotel or hospitality industry standards is a plus.
Physical Demands:
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
-The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25-30 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
