We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Medical Sonographer for a 13-week contract assignment at a leading acute care hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative imaging team in a teaching hospital that provides advanced trauma, stroke, and women's health services.
Assignment Details
- Location: Milwaukee, WI
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Start Date: August 2026
- Schedule: Monday & Thursday, 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Hours: 20 hours per week
- No on-call requirements
- Holiday coverage only if it falls on your regularly scheduled shift
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations for general, vascular, and OB patients.
- Complete abdominal, pelvic, neonatal, and vascular imaging studies.
- Operate portable ultrasound equipment for bedside exams as needed.
- Collaborate with radiologists and the interdisciplinary care team to provide timely, accurate diagnostic imaging.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and compliance with departmental protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of Diagnostic Medical Sonography experience.
- Experience in general, vascular, and OB ultrasound is required.
- Trauma experience preferred for first-time travelers.
- Current BLS certification.
- ARDMS (OB), RVT, or ARDMS Abdomen (AB) certification required.
