Responsibilities
- Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and conduct surveillance to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Control access points by verifying identification and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies by following established protocols, including providing first aid or CPR when necessary.
- Conduct routine patrols of the premises to identify potential hazards or security vulnerabilities.
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism and conflict management skills, de-escalating tensions effectively.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents to ensure swift resolution.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security reports to ensure accurate record-keeping.
Requirements
***MUST HAVE ARMED GUARD CARD THROUGH NORTH CAROLINA PPSB***
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Certifications in first aid, CPR, and conflict management are preferred; willingness to obtain these certifications is expected.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques is essential.
- Strong understanding of security procedures and protocols to prevent theft and ensure safety.
- Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members, visitors, and emergency personnel.
