Job Overview:
We’re seeking a dedicated Clinical Dietitian who believes nutrition is more than a meal plan—it’s a critical part of healing, recovery, and long-term wellness. In this role, you’ll be a vital member of the care team, helping patients regain strength, manage conditions, and build healthier futures through personalized nutrition care. Deaconess Dietitians are responsible for providing nutritional care for all patients of the hospital. The dietitian manages nutritional care on assigned units with a major portion of time spent in individual patient assessment and instruction. This position is located at our Deaconess Gateway Campus in Newburgh, IN.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an approved internship or C.D.P. program.
- Minimum of one year experience at a general hospital of 300 beds or more desirable.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Credentialed through CDR (Commission on Dietetic Registration) or registry eligible
- If registry eligible, must pass RD exam to become registered within six months of hire.
- Must obtain licensure in applicable state within six months of becoming registered through CDR.
Shift: Days, Monday- Friday, (rotating weekends); 7:30 am-4:00pm
Hours: 36 per week
