The New Dermatology Group is hiring! We’re looking for a motivated and dependable clinical professional to join our dynamic, patient-centered team. Whether you're a Certified Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, Surgical Technologist, or a recent graduate ready to grow, this is your opportunity to work in a rewarding, fast-paced dermatology practice.
About the Role:
As a key clinical support team member, you’ll assist providers in delivering exceptional care across a variety of dermatologic and surgical services. This role involves working at multiple locations, offering diverse learning opportunities and skill development.
Here is what a typical scheduled week would look like:
Monday- New London- (1405 Mill St (2nd Floor)
Tuesday- Shawano (100 County Rd B (1st Floor)
Wednesday- Shawano (100 County Rd B (1st Floor)
Thursday- Waupaca (710 Riverside Drive, Waupaca 54981)
***Depending on the selected candidate, the Monday and Friday schedule may rotate, or one consistent day may be worked each week.
This position may also be asked to work at our Shawano and New London locations based on occasional business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for exams, gather medical history, and update EHR records
- Maintain patient flow and provider schedules to ensure on-time appointments
- Perform scribing tasks and prepare/send prescriptions as directed
- Keep exam rooms and supplies sanitized, stocked, and ready
- Assist with surgical procedures: prepping instruments, ensuring sterile techniques, and supporting providers
- Prepare liquid nitrogen containers and pathology specimens
- Promote use of the patient portal and maintain accurate documentation
- Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and all regulatory compliance policies
- Maintain equipment and clinic supplies; report maintenance issues as needed
- Continue professional development through training and educational resources
- Perform additional duties as assigned
What You Bring:
- Friendly, professional, and adaptable personality
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy clinical environment
- Detail-oriented and tech-savvy with EHR systems
- Willingness to learn dermatology-specific procedures, including scribing, local anesthetic administration, and surgical assistance
- Demonstrated ability to follow sterile techniques and support surgical procedures
- Team-focused, dependable, and proactive
Qualifications:
Required (one of the following):
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) eligible to work in Wisconsin
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensed in Wisconsin
- Graduate of a recognized surgical technology program or military equivalent
Preferred: Dermatology experience (but not required – we’ll train the right candidate!)

- $2,000 Sign-On Bonus – After successful completion of the introductory period
