Job Summary:
The Maintenance Staff is responsible for maintaining the hotel's facilities, guest rooms, and equipment to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for guests and employees. The role involves performing preventive maintenance, responding to maintenance requests, and repairing building systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and building equipment.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel staff.
- Repair and maintain electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance according to the hotel's maintenance schedule.
- Replace light bulbs, repair doors, locks, windows, furniture, and fixtures.
- Troubleshoot equipment and facility issues and complete repairs efficiently.
- Maintain swimming pool, landscaping, and exterior areas (if applicable).
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance inventory.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs when required.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and completed work orders.
- Assist during emergencies and respond to urgent facility issues.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in building or hotel maintenance preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call hours.

Pay: $14.90 - $19.50 per hour
