Legacy Creators Academy is seeking a passionate and dependable School Chef to prepare fresh, nutritious meals for our students each day.
Our food program is centered around **organic ingredients, gluten-free meals, high-quality proteins, and no refined sugars. We believe healthy food fuels healthy minds, and we're looking for someone who shares that vision.
Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh breakfast, lunch, and snacks daily.
- Plan and prepare nutritious, child-friendly menus.
- Accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions.
- Order food and manage kitchen inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
- Follow all food safety and health regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous chef or cooking experience required.
- Experience in a school, childcare, or commercial kitchen preferred.
- Knowledge of healthy, from-scratch cooking.
- ServSafe Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Reliable, organized, and passionate about serving children.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check and Missouri Family Care Safety Registry screening.
