Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and marinating.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Participate in catering events as needed, assisting with menu planning and execution.
- Support the dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary requirements.
Experience
- Previous experience in a food service or culinary role is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices, food safety regulations, and culinary techniques is essential.
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment is advantageous.
- Familiarity with catering services or dietary aide responsibilities is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team are crucial.

Pay: $14.65 - $18.00 per hour
