- Education: Associate degree or equivalent experience required; bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or engineering preferred.

Experience: Over 10 years of experience in consultative sales and customer support within the AV/IT or similar technology industry.

Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of AV/IT products, design, engineering, and the industry as a whole. Familiarity with fire life safety or low voltage systems is a plus.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in using Windows, MS Office, and customer relationship management (CRM) software.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with active listening and strong persuasiveness in prospecting techniques.

Sales Acumen: Ability to drive multiple concurrent opportunities through the sales cycle to closure, with a focus on high-margin leads.

Customer Focus: Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service, with the ability to perform needs analysis and site surveys effectively.
