JSW Steel is seeking to hire an Inside Sales Representative to join our team!
The Inside Sales Representative plays a critical role in managing customer transactions, supporting order accuracy, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. This role collaborates closely with sales, production, engineering, quality, and leadership teams to deliver results while upholding safety standards and company CORE values.
Key Responsibilities:
Champion and model JSW Steel USA’s CORE Values and develop working knowledge of products and operational procedures
Accurately process customer transactions including quotes, orders, expediting, and order status updates
Review and break down incoming purchase orders to ensure proper order parameters and procedures
Enter and verify orders within the order entry system, ensuring accuracy from entry through shipment
Communicate proactively with Sales Management regarding customer concerns or complaints
Respond promptly to customer inquiries related to order status and additional information
Conduct post-sale follow-ups to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure service excellence
Meet or exceed assigned sales and customer service goals
Maintain a professional and customer-focused presence
Follow company policies and procedures
Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Knowledge & Skills:
2+ years of Inside Sales experience (pipe or steel industry preferred)
Prior steel industry experience strongly preferred
SAP experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
