Company Overview
We are a family-owned, faith and purpose driven propane company rooted in a bold Mission: Go Serve.
Our Vision is “to eternally impact tens of thousands of customers in North Carolina and South Carolina by delivering a radically positive customer experience in propane installation, service, and delivery, for God’s glory and not our own. We exist to glorify God—not ourselves—by honoring others, stewarding resources wisely, and leading with excellence, integrity, and love.”
Our overarching Core Values are Safety, Service, and Purpose, which we live out through five operating values that guide every member of our team: Safety First, Gritty Work Ethic, Eternal Impact, Find a Better Way, and Servant-Heartedness. Every decision we make, every process we build, and every customer we serve is anchored in these values.
Job Summary
The Director of Operations & Integration is the operational heartbeat of our company—the person who translates vision into execution, ideas into systems, and values into daily practice. This role serves as the key counterpart to the CEO/Visionary, bringing disciplined focus, financial stewardship, and process-driven thinking to every area of the business. This position will be perfect for someone who loves building out the systems that help purpose-driven businesses scale—turning a growing operation into a durable, well-run organization without losing the mission at its heart.
This is not a corner-office position. The right person will be just as comfortable walking a job site with our service team as they are reviewing monthly financial statements. They will bring a strong financial management background paired with a genuine servant’s heart—someone who earns trust by rolling up their sleeves, asking good questions, and building systems collaboratively with the team rather than imposing them from above.
As our EOS Integrator, this leader will own the day-to-day execution of the Entrepreneurial Operating System, ensuring that our leadership team stays aligned, accountable, and focused on the priorities that drive growth. They will harmonize all major functions of the business—administration, finance, marketing, service, installation, and delivery—so that every department is rowing in the same direction toward our shared vision.

- Maintain and refine the company’s Vision/Traction Organizer (V/TO) in partnership with the CEO, ensuring the entire team understands and is aligned with where we are going and how we will get there.
Financial Management & Stewardship

- Develop and manage annual budgets and short-term and long-term Capital Expenditure Plans with a stewardship mindset—spending wisely, investing strategically, and maximizing impact.

Process Engineering & Operational Systems
- Design, document, and implement scalable processes and systems across all functions of the business—administration, service, installation, delivery, and customer experience.
- Collaborate directly with our field teams to understand current workflows, identify inefficiencies, and co-create solutions that work in practice, not just on paper.
- Assess the future suitability of Suburban Software Systems and evaluate alternative back-office, routing, in-truck, and payment processing platforms as the company scales.
- Oversee and optimize the use of operational technology platforms.
- Develop an inventory control system for both liquid propane and non-liquid assets (tanks, materials, parts, fittings).
- Develop purchasing and vendor management protocols that support growth while controlling costs.

- Develop clear Job Descriptions for every position to provide clarity of role, expectations, and accountability.
- Assess and develop training programs (e.g., Customer Service Training, technical skills, safety protocols) that equip the team to deliver on our mission.
- Recruit and onboard new team members who align with our core values and will live out Safety First, a Gritty Work Ethic, Eternal Impact, Find a Better Way, and a Servant-Hearted approach.
- Collaborate with the CEO and Corporate Chaplains of America to support the spiritual well-being of the team and foster a workplace culture that honors God.
Marketing & Growth Oversight
- Assess, develop, and oversee a Marketing Plan—including SEO, website, social media, and advertising strategies.
- Ensure marketing efforts are aligned with our mission and brand identity, reflecting the radically positive customer experience that defines our company.
Compliance & Vendor Management
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, including DOT compliance, NCDEQ compliance, underground storage tank providers, and LP supply management.
- Oversee payroll, time tracking, and other administrative platforms to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
- Evaluate the current Ministry Plan and redesign as necessary with measurable KPIs to assess community and Kingdom impact.
The Right Person for This Role
We are looking for a servant-leader who leads by example, not by title. The ideal candidate embodies the following qualities: These are the qualities that bring our five operating values—Safety First, Gritty Work Ethic, Eternal Impact, Find a Better Way, and Servant-Hearted—to life in a leader. Above all, we are looking for someone whose mind, heart, and soul align with our mission, our vision, and our core values.
- Safety-Minded (Safety First): You treat protecting every life, home, and teammate as a sacred, non-negotiable responsibility. You build a culture where procedures and codes are followed, unsafe conditions are stopped and fixed, and safety is never traded for speed or convenience—no matter how fast we grow.
- Servant-Hearted & Humble: You lead by serving others. You value every team member—from the office to the field—and you earn trust through humility, respect, and genuine care.
- Financially Sharp: You bring a strong financial management background and are fluent in budgets, P&L statements, cash flow, and capital planning. You view financial stewardship as a sacred trust. Because this role is heavily involved in building out financial systems and processes, a strong accounting background—and the discipline to design sound controls—is a tremendous asset.
- Process-Minded Builder: You are energized by building systems, documenting processes, and creating the operational foundation on which a growing company can scale. You don’t just identify problems—you solve them.
- Collaborative & Curious: You acknowledge your knowledge gaps, ask great questions, and learn from the people closest to the work. You build processes with the team, not for the team.
- Self-Motivated & Mission-Driven: You don’t wait to be told what to do. You are driven by our mission (“Go Serve”), our vision, and our core values—Safety, Service, and Purpose.
- Comfortable in Both Worlds: You can move seamlessly between a leadership meeting and a job site conversation. You respect and value our team and are never above getting your hands dirty.
- Faith-Aligned: You share our deep commitment to glorifying God in the marketplace. You see your work as a calling and understand that business can be a powerful platform for ministry, service, and eternal impact.
