Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
- Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend popular items, and upsell to enhance the guest experience while increasing sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
- Check in with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns promptly, and foster positive guest relations
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, process payments efficiently, and provide correct change
- Assist with food handling, kitchen support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively using sales techniques like OpenTable reservations or suggestive selling strategies
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen support roles is a plus but not required
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations are essential
