ACTIVITY ASSISTANT QUALIFICATIONS:
Educational/Degree
1. High school graduate or equivalent
2. Valid Ohio Driver’s License
3. Must pass background check and meet health requirements
ACTIVITY ASSISTANT JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist the Activity Director in the development of the monthly social calendar including printing and distribution.
2. Attend resident Town Meetings, assisting the Activity Director in conducting the meeting and taking minutes.
3. Direct social, recreational and leisure activities so that the resident’s lives may be more meaningful and stimulate physical and mental capabilities, and to assist in attaining their optimal social, physical, and emotional well-being, including self-care and maintenance.
4. Assist in completing new resident Activity Assessment and Orientation.
5. Assist in Orientation of Volunteers.
6. Assist in maintaining gift shop inventory, re-ordering and re-stocking.
7. Assist in marketing duties. Direct tours of the facility, answer in-coming calls regarding occupancy and provide other information as necessary.
8. Driving residents to community events and activity field trips with company vehicle.
9. Encourages resident participation and monitors resident attendance.
10. Strive to achieve the highest level of satisfaction among the residents and guest.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
