You will deliver exceptional customer service while efficiently handling retail transactions and food and beverage preparation.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Process sales accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring smooth retail transactions
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including counters, equipment, and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards
- Assist in food handling and food preparation tasks to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Manage beverage service flow during busy periods by prioritizing orders and maintaining excellent time management skills
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness
- Follow proper food safety procedures during drink preparation and food handling to ensure customer safety
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred, especially with barista duties or beverage preparation
- Familiarity with the Toast POS system is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely order fulfillment during peak hours
Pay: From $17.81 per hour
