Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Concrete Order Taker. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and processing orders for concrete products from customers and ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls and emails from customers requesting concrete orders
- Enter customer orders into our computer system accurately and in a timely manner
- Coordinate with the dispatch team to schedule deliveries and ensure that the orders are dispatched to the correct location
- Communicate with customers regarding order status, delivery times, and any changes to the order
- Resolve customer complaints and issues related to their orders
- Maintain accurate records of customer orders, delivery schedules, and other relevant information
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient order processing
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service or order taking role preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office, DigitalFleet, Integra and order processing systems
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional weekends
