American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week contract at a short-term acute care hospital in Washington state.

Short-term acute care hospital setting with 325 staffed beds
-
Cath Lab unit performing a full range of diagnostic and interventional procedures
-
Procedures include diagnostic cath, PCI (stents, balloon angioplasty, laser, rotational atherectomy, Impella, IABP, CTO), Structural Heart (TAVR, Balloon Valvuloplasty, Watchman), and Electrophysiology (EPS, AFib/Flutter ablations, BiV and pacemaker implants)

4x10 hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM

On-call required: 1 call day per week and one weekend every 5–6 weeks

Charting in Epic (experience required)

Travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state

Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
-
Current BLS and ACLS required
-
ARRT-R or CCI RCIS certification required
-
Active WA Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Cardiac Interventional Sonographer (CIS) license required; license required if applicable

Epic EMR experience required

Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration

SSN and DOB required for consideration

All requested time off must be disclosed at time of submission

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

Pending licenses will not be accepted

Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Rhythm interpretation experience is preferred

Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in termination of assignment
