American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 2+ years of L&D experience, C-section circulation skills, and an active NJ or compact RN license.

Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting, with 26 rooms and an average daily census of approximately 19 patients
-
Unit serves Antepartum, Labor & Delivery, GYN, and Postpartum/Nursery patients
-
Patient ratio of 1:2
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12.5-hour shifts, 19:30–06:30
-
Every other weekend required based on unit needs
-
No on-call responsibilities
-
Floating required to Antepartum, Postpartum, and PACU based on unit needs

Charting system: Epic; Pyxis used for medication dispensing

Active NJ or compact RN license required
-
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required

Must be able to circulate for C-sections

SSN and DOB required for consideration

Two current professional references required

Scrubs are provided; L&D staff wear blue scrubs

All requested time off must be submitted and approved prior to an offer being extended

Local candidates are accepted at the same rate

Former RWJBH staff (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the RWJBH health system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
