Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team, responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment across manufacturing and facilities operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, with experience in facility maintenance, manufacturing environments, and residential painting. Duties
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, facilities, and infrastructure
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using schematics, Ohmmeters, and CMMS software
- Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, belts, switches, and wiring
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and control equipment functions
- Conduct welding repairs as needed to maintain equipment integrity
- Assist with residential painting projects related to facility upkeep when required
- Supervise junior technicians or maintenance staff during shift operations
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS systems
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures during all maintenance activities
- Support facilities maintenance tasks including plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, manufacturing, or related fields
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals
- Electrical experience including troubleshooting with Ohmmeters and understanding of electrical systems
- Skilled in welding techniques for repair tasks
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CMMS software is preferred
- Experience supervising or leading teams is a plus
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective documentation and teamwork
- Ability to perform residential painting as part of facility upkeep when necessary
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to prioritize safety and quality standards
- Knowledge of schematics, facilities maintenance practices, and troubleshooting electrical/mechanical issues
