What You'll Do
As a
Frame Assembly Technician, you'll play a critical role in building and preparing plate heat exchanger units for our customers. This position combines mechanical assembly, quality inspection, material handling, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities-
Assemble heat exchanger frames using work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Read and interpret technical drawings and bills of materials

Complete quality inspections and testing using inspection sheets, specifications, and photographs

Operate overhead cranes, hoists, forklifts, pallet jacks, and electric pallet jacks
-
Build skids and pallets and prepare equipment for shipment
-
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools safely and effectively
-
Accurately count, document, and track components and materials
-
Handle and maneuver large, heavy frame components
-
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
-
Participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives
-
Support production needs and perform other duties as assigned
What Makes You Successful
Required Qualifications-
2+ years of manufacturing experience
-
Mechanically inclined with an interest in hydraulic assembly
-
Experience using pneumatic, hand, and power tools
-
Ability to read technical drawings and follow bills of materials
-
Experience operating forklifts and cranes
-
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
-
Basic math, reading, and writing skills
-
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
-
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and assignments
-
Ability to read, write, and speak English
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Willingness to work overtime as needed
Preferred Qualifications-
Trade school or vocational education
-
Experience with hydraulic systems and assemblies
-
Advanced manufacturing or industrial assembly experience
Physical Requirements
This role requires:

Standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods
-
Working in and around large industrial equipment
-
Working underneath and around confined assembly spaces
-
Regular lifting of materials up to 50 lbs.

Wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Following all safety guidelines and 5S workplace principles
