Qualifications:
Good work ethics: . Passion for food and the industry. Previous Commercial Kitchen / Line Cook / Prep Cook required. Looking for someone with Knife skills and cooking experience.
Responsible to the Head Chef / Owner (small business)
Essential Functions:
- To be able to move about the kitchen easily and quickly
- Possesses knife skills and knows how to cook in a commercial kitchen.
- To possess sufficient language skills to understand the tasks at hand. follow recipes.
- Prep food, incl. fryer, griddle and other cooking equipment
- to be able to lift and move food and supplies
- use kitchen equipment safely; and operate electrical and mechanical equipment
- Maintain adequate Inventory of food and supplies
- operate dishwasher while maintaining appropriate temperature
- determine cleanliness of dishes, food-contact surfaces and kitchen area
- Access condition of food
- Detail orientated
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
