Children's Bureau of New Orleans is currently seeking a Licensed Master Level Social Worker or Counselor (LMSW or PLPC) for our Mental Health Rehabilitation Program. The Mental Health Professional (MHP) position provides community based treatment for children. Services include individual and family counseling, psycho-education and community support services to children with moderate to severe mental health problems. This is a full-time salaried position with benefits. The position requires flexibility, which may include evening or weekend work. A drug screen and criminal background check are required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's Degree in a mental health profession (social work, counseling, or related field)
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior work experience in MHR or with the treatment of children is preferred.
