Job Overview
We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Medical Assistants and Administrative Assistants to join our dynamic healthcare team in. Duties
- Perform patient intake procedures, including recording vital signs, medical histories, and current medications
- Assist with clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, X-ray procedures, and medication administration under supervision
- Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ensuring accurate documentation of medical encounters and procedures
- Support medical office management by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and maintaining medical records
- Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, guiding patients through procedures, and ensuring comfort during visits
- Conduct basic physiology and anatomy assessments to support physicians during examinations and treatments
- Assist in outpatient and inpatient settings, including emergency medicine, Geriatrics, internal medicine, and Level I/II trauma center environments
Qualifications
- Proven experience in medical office support or clinical assisting within outpatient or hospital settings
- Knowledge of dermatology, urgent care, hospital medicine, or emergency medicine is highly desirable
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent required; additional certifications such as phlebotomy or X-ray tech are a plus
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and ICD coding for accurate medical documentation
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, pharmacology, physiology, and anatomy to support effective patient care
- Experience with inpatient units such as PICU or Geriatrics is advantageous; clinic experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and teamwork

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
