Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Quality Inspector to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing inspections of raw materials, fabricated components, welded assemblies, and finished products. This position ensures products meet customer requirements, engineering specifications, and company quality standards while developing technical inspection skills and manufacturing process knowledge. Your keen eye for detail, combined with your expertise in quality systems and measurement tools, will help uphold our commitment to excellence.
Duties
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of fabricated metal products.
- Perform and document First Article Inspections/PPAPs on new products.
- Verify dimensions using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, height gauges, thread gauges and CMM.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Conduct visual inspections of fabricated and welded components.
- Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation.
- Identify and report non-conforming materials and products.
- Assist production personnel in resolving quality concerns.
- Participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
- Follow company safety and quality procedures.
Þ Education
· High school diploma or GED required.
· Technical training in manufacturing, welding, machining, or quality preferred.
Þ Experience
· 0–3 years of manufacturing or quality inspection experience.
· Experience in metal fabrication, machining, or welding environments preferred.
Þ Knowledge and Skills
· Basic blueprint reading skills.
· Familiarity with precision measuring equipment.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Basic computer skills.
· Ability to communicate effectively with production personnel.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
