Roamers Therapy is seeking a Part-Time Licensed Clinical Supervisor (LCPC, LCSW, or Clinical Psychologist) to provide clinical supervision, professional mentorship, and clinical consultation to Clinical Interns, Early Career Clinicians, and Provisionally Licensed Clinicians within our practice.
This is a supervision-focused independent contractor role with no required client caseload. The Clinical Supervisor will support supervisees in developing strong clinical skills, ethical decision-making, documentation practices, and professional confidence while ensuring compliance with applicable Illinois licensing, training, and professional standards.

Supervisees may provide individual, couples, family, child, adolescent, and telehealth psychotherapy services. The Clinical Supervisor will provide guidance related to case conceptualization, treatment planning, documentation, risk management, ethical practice, professional development, and standards of care across a diverse client population.
This position is fully remote. Supervision is conducted through HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms. Supervisors are responsible for maintaining a professional home office environment that meets all HIPAA, privacy, confidentiality, and telehealth compliance requirements. Supervisors may be assigned approximately 5–10 supervisees based on practice needs and supervisor availability.
Job Summary:
Supervision
- Conducting regularly scheduled weekly supervision meetings with assigned Clinical Interns, Early Career Clinicians, and Provisionally Licensed Clinicians
- Reviewing supervisee psychotherapy notes, treatment plans, and related clinical documentation, and providing feedback to support compliance, clinical quality, and professional growth
- Reviewing supervision contracts, learning agreements, and professional development goals with supervisees
- Developing, monitoring, and supporting individualized learning and professional growth plans for supervisees
- Providing reflective, educational, supportive, and developmental supervision in accordance with applicable Illinois licensing and training requirements
- Collaborating with Clinical Leadership and Practice Management to support supervisee development, performance, and professional growth
- Supporting supervisees with ethical decision-making, risk assessment, safety planning, crisis management, and professional challenges
- Providing guidance regarding case conceptualization, treatment planning, documentation standards, HIPAA compliance, telehealth best practices, and standards of care
- Maintaining supervision records and documentation in accordance with applicable licensing, internship, and compliance requirements
- Participating in consultation and collaboration meetings as needed to support supervisee success and clinical excellence
- Reviewing supervisee performance on a quarterly basis through evaluation and feedback processes
- Supporting supervisees in developing clinical confidence, professional identity, independent clinical judgment, and evidence-based practice skills
- Assisting supervisees in meeting licensure, internship, training, and professional development goals
- Contributing to an ethical, inclusive, affirming, and healthy culture within the practice
- Encouraging psychoeducational outreach efforts through Therapy Sketches, Roamers Academy, and other educational initiatives as appropriate

Minimum Qualifications:
- Active Illinois license in good standing (LCPC, LCSW, or Clinical Psychologist)
- Eligible to provide clinical supervision under applicable Illinois licensing regulations
- Minimum 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience providing clinical supervision, mentorship, internship supervision, or professional training required
- Demonstrated competency in evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, EFT, Gottman Method, Psychodynamic Therapy)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations, telehealth standards, and clinical documentation requirements
- Strong knowledge of applicable professional codes of ethics (ACA, APA, NASW, AAMFT)
- Prior supervisory, mentorship, teaching, training, or internship supervision experience preferred
- Ability to maintain a consistent supervision schedule and availability for assigned supervisees
- Ability to provide supervision through HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms from a professional home office environment

Pay: Up to $145.00 per hour
