Spanish-Speaking Substitute Teacher

Srim Academy is seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dependable Spanish-speaking Substitute Teacher to join our team and become part of our Spanish Language Immersion Program.
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and is passionate about introducing them to a second language in a natural, engaging, and meaningful way.
Responsibilities
- Provide classroom support and after care support as a substitute teacher in our Toddler (13 months–3 years) and Primary (3–6 years) Montessori classrooms.
- Speak to the children in Spanish throughout the day, incorporating everyday vocabulary, songs, stories, conversations, and classroom routines.
- Foster a positive, nurturing, and respectful learning environment.
- Collaborate with lead teachers to support daily classroom activities and maintain consistency.
- Help children develop an appreciation and love for the Spanish language through play, music, movement, and meaningful interactions.
- Maintain a safe, caring, and engaging classroom environment.
Qualifications
- Fluent in Spanish (native speakers are encouraged to apply).
- Experience working with young children is preferred.
- Montessori experience is a plus but not required.
- Warm, patient, energetic, and reliable.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and successfully complete all required background checks.
