Certified Transmission is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Manager to lead our inventory operations and Parts Department at our Omaha manufacturing facility.
In this hands-on leadership role, you'll oversee inventory accuracy, ensure parts and raw materials are available to support production, lead a high-performing team, and drive continuous process improvements. You'll partner closely with Production, Purchasing, and Logistics to optimize inventory, improve operational efficiency, and support the company's manufacturing goals.

Main Responsibilities
- Lead all inventory control operations to ensure parts and raw materials are available to support production schedules.
- Supervise, coach, train, and develop the Parts Department team.
- Optimize inventory levels while minimizing excess inventory and obsolete stock.
- Analyze inventory trends and implement strategies that improve inventory accuracy, inventory turns, and operational efficiency.
- Partner with Production, Purchasing, and Logistics to align inventory with manufacturing demands.
- Monitor and improve inventory control systems, procedures, and best practices.
- Develop departmental budgets and forecast inventory and staffing needs.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor key inventory performance metrics and identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Evaluate departmental processes and implement improvements that increase productivity, accuracy, and workflow.
- Promote a safe, organized, and positive work environment while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of inventory management, materials management, or supply chain leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience leading, coaching, and developing employees.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, inventory planning, forecasting, and inventory optimization.
- Experience using ERP or inventory management software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
