Job Summary
We are looking for an in person project manager and or sales person with 10 plus years of experience in residential + commercial swimming pool construction and remodeling services. You will be hired as a employee or contractor in this role.
How far will you travel to each project?
On a weekly basis, you will travel 25-35 miles around Sherman Oaks, CA.
Perks: High hourly rate, commission and bonus opportunities, and company vehicle may be provided.
If you are driving your own vehicle, the company will reimburse you for gas and mileage.
Project Manager role payment structure:
Pay Per Hour:
- $30-$35 per hour, plus mileage and gas reimbursement
- The hourly rate depends on the complexity and length of the project, how difficult is the project and how many days with the project take. Shorter jobs will pay a higher hourly rate and longer jobs will pay a lower hourly rate.
- Commission will be offered on a contingency basis, based on: if the project runs without miscommunication, timeline delays, or quality issues
- Commission + bonus opportunity: After 3-6 months of employment, we will offer 2%-4% commission on total sale value of the project. Our avg. project sale values range from $20,000-$110,000
What Your Role Will Look Like As A Project Manager:
- You will be assigned between 1-3 projects at a time
- Projects last on avg. between 1-4 weeks
- Meet the team, our onsite supervisor will introduce you to our amazing field team members
- Take photos of the job site every hour on with our company software
- Provide clear and concise notes + updates to our office team, every hour
- Coordinate next steps with projects: send a worker
- The project manager will be sent job site addresses to visit in person on a daily basis
- The project manager remain on the same job site for 1 plus hours. This is to monitor workmanship and ensure all field workers follow all instructions
- Speak with the customer: provide updates on the project, clarify the work order with them, make the customer feel confident about our company and performance
- Ensure the job site is cleaned up on a daily basis before the field crew exits the job site
- Meet city inspectors (health dept. or building and saftey) to review project details
The applicant must have the following resources:
- reliable cell phone
- reliable vehicle to drive to and from job sites
- enough time, where we can rely on you to be at specific job sites daily
Project Manager Role (Details):
We are primarily seeking bilingual project managers who understand and speak spanish. The project manager we will hire must be specialized in swimming pool construction and remodeling services.
Applicants must understand health department guidelines for commercial swimming pools and building and safety guidelines for residential pools and spas.
Estimator role payment structure:
- 4%-7% commission based on total sale value of the project will be issued for sales reps. Average sale value of projects range from $40,000 to $110,000.
Estimator role:
- Estimators are provided with customer leads and pre scheduled appointments. All estimators are required to arrive to pre scheduled estimate appointments on time. Estimators will meet with the customer, understand the customer requests, and observe the job site.
- The estimator must observe the job site and project details in order to understand what the project will require in order to complete all assigned tasks.
- The estimator must take measurements and photos of each project in order to provide an accurate price
- The company will provide the estimator with a cost sheet so the estimator will understand how to price each project
