We are seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and general upkeep of plant facilities and equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, hands-on maintenance experience, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on facility equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems
- Maintain building equipment, tools, and grounds
- Complete work orders and maintain maintenance records
- Operate equipment including forklifts, company vehicles, sweepers, and tractors
- Support facility upkeep, including seasonal grounds maintenance and snow removal
- Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout requirements
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Experience with welding, fabrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, or electrical systems a plus
- Ability to operate forklifts and other maintenance equipment
- Technical degree or skilled trade background preferred
- Ability to work independently and maintain a safe, organized work environment
- Valid driver’s license required
