Hiring bindery operator with folding and cutting experience.
Prior bindery experience required.
Applicants should be able and willing to do the following:
- Must have experience buckle folding machines, guillotine cutters, and saddle-stitching machines.
- Familiar with the mechanical parts of these machines in order to set them up and troubleshoot any issues.
- Ability to learn an adapt to new equipment.
- Ability to configure, troubleshoot, operate, and maintain machinery with independence and minimal additional help.
- Knowledgeable in typing and with computers (shipping software.)
- Ability to form boxes and package materials for shipment.
- Able to print shipping labels, packing slips, and apply them accordingly.
- Capability of lifting >35+ lbs. when necessary.
- Working while standing for extended periods of time.
- Working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multi-task and consistently monitor operations.
- Ability communicate clearly with the Production Managers on job status/updates.
- Ability to work with others, engage productivity, and contribute to a positive work setting.
- Able to perform other duties as requested.
