Position Summary
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our team. This role is responsible for executing residential remodeling and construction projects with a high level of craftsmanship, efficiency, and professionalism. The ideal applicant has a strong understanding of the full construction process, communicates effectively with team members and clients, and consistently operates in alignment with company core values.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of carpentry work including framing, trim, cabinetry installation, drywall, siding, and general remodeling tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
- Execute projects according to schedule while maintaining high-quality standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Coordinate with team members, subcontractors, and management to ensure smooth project flow
- Identify and communicate project challenges or changes proactively
- Ensure all work meets building codes and company standards
- Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients
Skills & Qualifications
Construction Knowledge
- Strong understanding of residential construction and remodeling processes from start to finish
- Ability to anticipate next steps and think ahead on projects
- Familiarity with tools, materials, and best practices in carpentry
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Ability to measure, cut, and assemble materials with precision
- Experience with framing, finish carpentry, and general construction tasks
- Problem-solving skills to adapt in the field
Communication
- Clear and professional communication with team members, management, and clients
- Ability to ask questions and provide updates when needed
- Works well in a team environment and contributes to a positive culture
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
