Description:
Multi-generational family-owned wholesale distributor, is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to support our growing operations. This role is deeply involved in the day-to-day financial operations of our family business and offers meaningful responsibility with clear opportunity for future growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the monthly financial statement close process for 3+ related entities
- Perform hands-on accounting duties across Accounts Receivable (A/R), Accounts Payable (A/P), and General Ledger (G/L)
- Support the day-to-day financial and operational needs of the family business
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely, high-quality financial reporting
- Collaborate effectively across multiple company locations
- Contribute to process improvements and cross-training within the accounting team
Requirements:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
- Minimum of 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Demonstrated cross-training and hands-on experience in A/R, A/P, and G/L
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a multi-entity, multi-location environment
- Experience supporting the operational needs of a family-owned business is highly desirable
