About the Role
The Aligned Solution Group is looking for a motivated and detail-driven Field Specialist to join our operations team on a 1099 contractor basis. In this role, you'll visit commercial facilities across the region to conduct on-site asset surveys, documenting equipment, capturing data, and entering information into industry-leading CMMS platforms and mobile applications.
This isn't a desk job. You'll be out in the field, independently managing your schedule, interfacing with facility managers and store personnel, and ensuring every asset is accurately captured and properly documented.
Successful candidates will have a strong understanding of commercial restaurant operations, equipment, and facility layouts. You should be comfortable identifying common restaurant assets, understanding their function within the operation, and navigating both front-of-house and back-of-house environments with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site asset and equipment surveys at commercial locations across the region
- Collect detailed asset data including manufacturer, model number, serial number, condition, and asset location
- Photograph each asset according to project requirements
- Upload and enter all data into CMMS platforms and mobile survey applications with accuracy and consistency
- Ensure assets are properly tagged and documented according to project standards
- Identify and document commercial restaurant equipment including HVAC units, refrigeration systems, cooking equipment, beverage systems, warewashing equipment, exhaust hoods, and other facility assets
- Navigate restaurant layouts and accurately categorize assets based on operational function and location
- Follow assigned schedules and complete locations on time
- Send daily progress updates to project management
- Represent The Aligned Solution Group professionally when working with clients, store managers, and facility staff
- Travel to project locations as required, including regional routes and overnight stays

- Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Willingness to travel regionally on a weekly basis
- Reliable personal transportation
- Ability to climb ladders and safely access rooftops when required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Working knowledge of commercial restaurant equipment and facility operations
- Ability to identify common restaurant assets including HVAC equipment, refrigeration systems, cooking equipment, beverage systems, exhaust hoods, and warewashing equipment
- Familiarity with restaurant layouts, kitchen workflows, back-of-house operations, and equipment placement
- Ability to distinguish between similar asset types and accurately document equipment in the field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in restaurant facilities management, equipment service, maintenance, construction, asset surveying, or restaurant operations
- Familiarity with CMMS platforms, asset management programs, or facilities management software
- Understanding of restaurant equipment lifecycles, maintenance requirements, and operational functions
- Experience conducting facility inspections, surveys, audits, or inventory projects

This role follows a structured route schedule that changes week to week based on client needs.
