Job Description:
Growing multi-national company in Allentown (Fogelsville area), PA is looking for a Dispatch coordinator to work within our domestic/international division. The individual will be responsible for all facets of shipments worldwide. In addition, the individual will coordinate services between sales, customers, agents, brokers, etc. to ensure all aspects of shipment are handled efficiently and timely.
Basic Duties:
*Arrange shipments including booking and tracking of shipments
*Monitor shipments while in transit
*Monitor temperature condition of the goods during transit& delivery to final destination
*Assist/with client relations
*Deal with agents and brokers to expedite customs clearance for shipments to/from.
*Assisting in administrative tasks
*Coordinate communications between sales groups and international customers
*Obtain Agent costs for services
Additional Responsibilities:
*Handling of customer specific procedures
*Planning and controlling of the supply for internal and external international customers
*Commercial and logistical execution of customer orders in consideration of internal rules and guidelines as well as international rules like Incoterms and all tax and customs issues
*Dealing with transport claims
*Maintain workflow by studying methods; implementing cost reductions; and developing reporting procedures
*Resolves administrative problems by coordinating preparation of reports, analyzing data, and identifying solutions
*Contributes to team success by assisting where needed on a daily basis

*1 to 2 years' experience in Administrative/Customer Service
