Rehabilitation Hospital of Jennings is looking to hire a Full Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team.( Monday through Friday with one Saturday a month) We are a 16-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital founded in 2005 and located in Jennings, LA. We provide multi-disciplinary approach to rehabilitation medicine; providing a minimum of three hours of therapy a day.
Our mission is to restore physical health and foster functional independence and overall well-being of the people we serve.
Our private rooms are spacious. We strive to provide excellent care and comfort to our patients and their family during the rehabilitation process.
Our facility has a complete fully equipped gym with specialized equipment. Our therapy team works in an inter-disciplinary fashion to resolve any and all deficits that our patients may have, to return them to their prior level of function.
Must be someone who is passionate about the patients they are treating. Part time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant will
· Comply with all state and federal regulations regarding occupational therapy.
· Provide quality therapy services within the PTA scope of practice under the direct supervision of our Physical Therapist in accordance with standards of practice and department procedures.
· Assist the Occupational Therapist in the establishing a list of short-term goals, long-term goals and treatment plan.
Part time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Job Requirements & Qualifications
- A valid and current Louisiana license to practice in our state
