Job Description:
The Environmental Services position maintains a clean, sanitary, and organized environment. They ensure facilities are well-stocked, organized, and sanitary. When not cleaning, the employee will be assisting with the daily residential assistant duties.
Essential Functions:
Maintain all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products; ensure safe and sanitary storage and care of products
- Perform general sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping of floors
- In charge treatments such as stain-removal as needed
- Dispose of trash from bins and containers
- Dust and polish furniture and room accessories as needed
- Scrub sinks and toilets in bathrooms
- Clean windows, mirrors, and counters as needed
- Keeps all public spaces neat and tidy
- Sanitize all doorknobs, counters, and hard surfaces
- Report repairs and replacements needed when encountered
- Keeps inventory of needed supplies
- Completes all facility laundry
- Conduct and document safety checks
- Other duties as assigned

Work Environment:
Office and healthcare setting with clients and other employees present.
- Working indoors primarily and outdoors occasionally
- May walk on slippery and uneven walking surfaces
- Excessive continuous noise at times
- Typical office and outside atmosphere
- Indoor and outdoor, using some cleaning supplies and tools
Physical Demands:
- Physically able to push up to 30 lbs
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine, with the ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to go up and down stairs multiple times per day

Required education and experience:
- (Preferred) High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Possess CPR/First Aid certification.
- Current TB test and health screen.
