Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including residential homes, hotels, or commercial spaces. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work independently while ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in assigned areas.
- Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are cleaned and presented neatly.
- Sanitate bathrooms, kitchens, and other common areas to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
- Assist with carpet cleaning and other specialized cleaning tasks as required.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices or hotel housekeeping management is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
