Kavkaz Express is looking for an experienced and highly motivated OTR Dispatcher to join our team at our Fairfield, NJ office.
Responsibilities:
-Review daily assignments and tenders.
-Post loads on DAT/Truckstop.
-Negotiate the best prices with brokers.
-Build relationships with assigned and new brokers.
-Ensure loads are picked up and delivered on time.
-Follow up on truck locations, pickup/delivery statuses, and temperatures.
-Communicate with customer representatives throughout load transit.
-Communicate with drivers via phone and text to relay information and confirm receipt.
-Communicate with brokers regarding all important delivery information, including driver name, phone number, and any delivery issues.
-Handle day-to-day operational issues and provide quick solutions to keep shipments moving efficiently.
-Record and maintain files of pickup/delivery information, communications with brokers, truck breakdowns, expenses, and proof of deliveries.
Skills and Experience:
-Minimum 2 years of OTR dispatching experience required.
-Logistics/account management experience required.
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
-Excellent computer skills.
-Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
-Strong work ethic.
-Must speak English fluently.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Ability to talk, hear, and lift up to 15 pounds.
