Position Summary
As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering attentive, knowledgeable, and seamless service throughout the guest experience. From guiding guests through the menu to coordinating timing with the kitchen and bar, you play a key role in ensuring each table feels cared for from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide warm, professional, and attentive service to guests throughout their dining experience.
- Present menus, explain offerings, and provide thoughtful recommendations for food, cocktails, sake, beer, and wine.
- Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders using the POS system.
- Coordinate with the kitchen, sushi bar, and bar to ensure timely and accurate service.
- Monitor table pacing and anticipate guests needs.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and with attention to presentation.
- Handle guest questions, requests, and concerns with professionalism and urgency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and dining areas.
- Assist with side work, opening and closing duties, and restocking as assigned.
- Support private dining events and special services when scheduled.
- Work collaboratively with hosts, bartenders, chefs, and management to ensure smooth service.Qualifications
- 3 + years previous serving experience in a Japanese Sushi Restaurant required (upscale or high-volume Japanese restaurant experience preferred).
Preferred Skills
- POS experience
- Experience with Japanese cuisine, sushi, sake, and cocktails (REQUIRED).
- Knowledge of proper service standards and dining etiquette.

Pay: From $18.42 per hour
