Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and provide information to callers
- Verify patient insurance coverage and collect necessary information for billing purposes
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Assist with medical scheduling and coordinate patient appointments
- Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations of the front desk
- Perform general office duties such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
Qualifications:
-Minimal of 3-5 years dental experience, endodontic experience is a plus
-Knowledge of dental practice management software is a must (TDO is used in the practice)
-Presenting treatment plans and collecting payments
-Understanding dental insurances and the ability of using it in case presentation
-Understanding productive scheduling and managing of appointments/goals
-Ability to answer multiple phone lines and greeting patients
-Excellent customer service and oral and written communication skills
