Job Title: Driver / Warehouse Operator
Job Summary:
The Driver / Warehouse Operator is responsible for supporting daily logistics and warehouse operations, including transporting goods, receiving shipments, organizing inventory, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This position requires both driving and warehouse handling duties to ensure timely deliveries and proper storage of products.
Key Responsibilities:
Driving Duties:
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up goods or materials.
- Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules.
- Load and unload items from the vehicle when required.
- Verify delivery documents and obtain signatures when necessary.
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips and report maintenance issues.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Warehouse Duties:
- Receive, unload, and organize incoming inventory.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment or delivery.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse.
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks.
- Label and store materials in designated areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials when necessary.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
Work Environment:
This position involves a combination of driving and warehouse work. The employee may be required to lift materials, stand for long periods, and work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to ____60 __ lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and carry materials for extended periods.
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
